The Story

The Winners are discussing 1985. They say they entered 825 competitions and won most of them. At that point the postman arrives with today's prizes. Whilst the Winners are taking them in, he overhears Dad suggesting a New Years Resolution. Not to repeat in 1986 what they did in 1985. And they'll turn over a new leaf.

The postman presumes that they are giving up entering competitions and bounces down the path. There's even a large cheer from the main post office. Meanwhile, Dad is hoping the postman didn't get the wrong idea.

The next day the postman is struggling up the path with more prizes. He says he thought 1986 wouldn't be a repeat of 1985. Dad says that's right, they intend to win ALL of the competitions they enter!
