The Story

Jack's friends are throwing rocks into a river and he thinks he can do better. He throws a rock almost to the other side. But then someone else comes along convinced he'll beat anything. Jack agrees, but doesn't quite make the other side. The other boy manages to get his rock almost there.

Jack then picks up another rock, but he's told he'll never beat the other boys throw. Jack just drops his stone right at the edge, and is called a wimp. But Jack explains it's not that, he'd spotted some ramblers and thought stepping stones would come in handy!

Notes

The Ramblers pay him for use of the stones.
